About Elite

Elite Special Event Tours was formed in 2004 by John Cruwys, a veteran of 35 years in senior management roles with major international airlines.

It was during the past 18 years as sales and marketing manager for United Airlines that John realized that a need existed for a tour operator to offer Australians the ability to visit and enjoy some of the unique and varied lifestyle events which take place annually in various parts of the globe. Many of these have never been offered as packaged escorted tours to Australians before.

The international holiday traveller is perceived to be a more sophisticated passenger than in past decades and more likely to want to seek out " special events" to experience in conjunction with their holiday.

Our tours focus on lifestyle events and music festivals. Most of them will be easily recognised for the interest that they generate every year, making them a must to visit as a " once in a lifetime " experience.

A common thread with many of these tours is music. Australians now have the opportunity to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of some of the great music festivals and to see and hear their favourite artist(s ) in person
